It is important to remember that polyester is oil based, so if fuel goes up, products made will polyester will in turn rise worldwide.
Shipping costs such as air, boat and trucking prices will rise as fuel prices rise. Additional fuel costs could be passed down to clients no matter if producing within United States or shipping in garments from overseas.
