What Did You Learn From Teaching at Philadelphia University?

Joe Greco, MSOD who is President of Greco Apparel was given the honor of being asked to teach about apparel manufacturing at Philadelphia University.

Our clients wonder why the President of Greco Apparel would spend time teaching young students about the craft of clothing manufacturing so we wanted to record a short video to explain why Joe agreed to teach and what was learned from the experience.

Teaching was a terrific experience, used to be on Board of Advisors, which was founded in 1800, as there were so much textile business in philadelphia in past. Now known as Philadelphia University, Joe was part of apparel and textile division. After receiving Masters of Organizational Dynamics at University of Pennsylvania, Joe taught Global sourcing of apparel on graduate level.

Teaching is much harder work than most people think as it takes a lot of preparation. Joe Greco enjoyed working with students and sharing practical knowledge in combination with text book knowledge, such as supply chain logistics.
