What Is A Test Run?

Our clients often ask us about if Greco Apparel make production test runs so we wanted to record a short video to explain why we believe test runs are important for successful apparel manufacturing.

After a pattern and grading are complete, there should be a sample run, to make garment or two garments in each size. The simple reason is that it is a trust but verify business.

A piece of the garment may be shrinking that is not known about prior to manufacturing. A couple hundred pieces are required to replicate manufacturing situation. This could seem like a lot of units to test, but better to make couple hundred than thousands of units.

If there is a change in pattern or fabric, should do another test run to prevent future issues with proper planning to reduce future risks.
